JULY Went By...

Nearing the end of July 2015, I must say that it was basically a usual July, yet specifically there were some atypical aspects. Personally, and not typically, I seem to have gained a resergence of physical energy! I have attributed this to my loving, powerful and prayer-answering God! I deeply praise Him and am daily trying to determine the best use of this precious commodity, so that prior goals yet incomplete, can be achieved and new ones can be sought.
However, even the healthiest version of me has never been able to abide the extreme summer heat, especially if mingled with a high percentage of humidity! Alas, I have therefore not accomplished as much as I expected. Praying for guidance, I remembered the blog and here I am.
Having been blocked from travels by a medical crisis in May and June, I knew it was unlikely the trip could be made in July, but my bags remain packed.
I look to the future with true hope, backed by the promises of God.  Even when days are difficult, as I focus on the comforting presence of the Lord and all He means to me and think about His plan for my life l am always inspired and encouraged. I love the scripture that comes to mind...

Psalms  71:16 I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.  71:17 O God, thou hast taught me from my youth: and hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works.  71:18 Now also when I am old and greyheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come.  71:19 Thy righteousness also, O God, is very high, who hast done great things: O God, who is like unto thee!  71:20 Thou, which hast shewed me great and sore troubles, shalt quicken me again, and shalt bring me up again from the depths of the earth.  71:21 Thou shalt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side.

Grateful for our SC Governor!

I thank God for Governor Nikki Haley who has promoted and organized a great meeting for our citizens according to the top priority in her life. her love of God and her realization that without him we can do nothing. Thank You Governor Haley for putting a platform together for true believers to call out to God. repenting of their sins and praying to God to help us to take a stand but mostly that He would just turn our country around and begin with us. Thank you for being as a Christian believer the example that other Christians and leaders in this country can follow. I have been participating by live stream since 10 a.m. with many others not able to be there. Also grateful this airing was arranged ....what a blessing to agree with other believers about God's ability to restore our fellowship and work as a corporate body with Him to influence our state, nation and world!

WHAT GRANDMOTHERS PRAY

1. Each grandkid will be Healthy, Holy, and Happy.
2. Their grandkids will genuinely seek, accept, love and be obedient to God by receiving Jesus Christ. That they will love His Word, live by it, and if necessary defend Its truth and die for it.
3. Their grandkids will make right choices, even when it is difficult or involves pain or sacrifice. That they will learn from hearing about and seeing the results of others mistakes, sins and failures.
4.Their grandkids will find their God-given talents and develop and use them in a way that will please God and benefit mankind.
5.Their grandkids will realize  all choices have consequences and that wrong choices cannot produce right results. To pray daily and follow God's guidance.
6.Their grandkids will realize they are never alone (even in loneliness) or forsaken from the time they accept Christ into their heart and life. HE will truly be their "guide unto death".

Psalms  78:3 Which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us.  78:6 That the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children:  78:7 That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments:
78:8 And might not be as their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation; a generation that set not their heart aright, and whose spirit was not stedfast with God.
